We are recruiting two Project Managers (Outreach Community Engagement) to join our C-Change in Action programme — one role based in Hounslow and one based in Hillingdon, with regular cross-borough working to support collaboration, shared learning, and joint activities.
These are 3-year funded roles, supported by The National Lottery Community Fund – Reaching Communities Programme, and play a vital role in helping residents and young people feel connected, supported, and empowered within their local communities. Working at a grassroots level, you will co-design and deliver inclusive community and youth-focused activities, with a strong emphasis on supporting young people aged 15–25, including young people who are NEET (not in education, employment or training), as well as those facing social, educational, or mental health barriers.
The role involves leading multiple projects, managing staff and freelancers, and delivering work that often takes place during evenings and weekends, alongside close partnership working across both boroughs

We’re looking for two passionate, people-centred community practitioners with experience engaging diverse communities and supporting young people—particularly those facing disadvantage or exclusion. You’ll have experience delivering community or youth projects, building trusted relationships, and working collaboratively with residents, schools, voluntary organisations, and local partners.
You’ll bring strong communication, organisation, and facilitation skills, alongside empathy, initiative, and a genuine commitment to youth empowerment, inclusion, and co-production. Experience supervising staff or volunteers, working flexibly (including weekends), and an understanding of community development and safeguarding are essential to succeeding in this role.

Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (including weekends and some evenings)
Contract: 3-year fixed-term contract (subject to funding)
Location: One role based in Hounslow and one role based in Hillingdon, with cross-borough working
Annual Leave: 25 days plus public holidays
Pension: Employer contribution included
Closing date: 5pm on Sunday 8th February 2026
Please note: The first stage interviews will take place during the week commencing 23rd February 2026. The second stage interviews are scheduled for Sunday 8th March 2026. Dates and times are subject to change
